About the event
We have very exciting news!
Each year, the Woden Valley Youth Choir takes on the enormous but rewarding task of putting on Canberra’s Carols by Candlelight at Stage 88. This has been our gift to the Canberra community for 23 years and a most special evening for the choristers and families. We have been wishing, waiting and hoping to get approval to run a Covid-safe event this year, and now it's official! Carols will be going ahead on Saturday December 12. This year, Carols by Candlelight will be a ticketed event for a maximum of 2000 attendees. We have had to sell tickets at a mimimum cost this year to help with our Covid-safe requirements and also cover the extra infrastructure we need. But an exciting extra aspect is that the event will be Livestreamed on Facebook by ABC Local Radio, who are our event partner for the very first…
