The Canberra Times Carols by Candlelight!
Saturday 10th December, 7pm-9:30pm
Stage 88, Commonwealth Park

Thank you, Canberra! The Carols will go on!
The Woden Valley Youth Choir is delighted with the response of the Canberra community, in response to our call out for help for this beloved community event. Proudly presented by the Woden Valley Youth Choir, with support from our talented friends the Canberra City Band and Spectrum Big Band, Eclipse Lighting and Sound, The Canberra Times Carols by Candlelight is the major carols event in Canberra.
Firstly, we would like to sincerely thank The Canberra Times for coming on board as a major sponsor. They were very concerned when they read about our plight and we are delighted that they have taken on the naming rights to have the event become The Canberra Times Carols by Candlelight. The Canberra Times has generously supported the event operationally and financially, and we couldn't thank them enough.
A big thanks also to our other media partner, 2CA/2CC, who have generously donated advertising time to this event, in support of our major sponsors.
Our other major sponsors include ECG Electrical and Holder Family Practice. You can read more about both companies below. Cash supporters are vital for Carols by Candlelight, as without them, we simply cannot afford to cover the event costs. If you are a business and would like to be involved in supporting this fabulous event, please reach out to wvyc.president@gmail.com.
We would also like to thank National Capital Authority, for hosting The Canberra Times Carols by Candlelight event in the beautiful National Triangle. We really appreciate their support.
Last but not least, we want to thank the Canberra public for their generous donations through the GoFundMe campaign. We are still actively fundraising for the event, so please do continue to support us.
