UPCOMING EVENTS
HIRE THE CHOIR

For 50 years, Canberra’s Woden Valley Youth Choir has performed at large and small events across the country and overseas, working with organisers to create performances that support and enhance the occasion. We are the only choir in Canberra that can sing the national anthem in the local indigenous Ngunawal language.

About Woden Valley Youth Choir

WVYC is an exciting and dynamic choir for young people aged 8 to 21.  As Canberra’s iconic youth choir, we are proud to offer so many positive benefits to our members: the value of learning to sing with confidence, the value of friendships made both locally and overseas, the value of positive self-esteem, and the value of developing performance skills which will hold them in good stead for the rest of their lives.

Throughout its 50 plus year history, WVYC has performed for Prime Ministers, Governors General, Royalty, Nelson Mandela and many, many more.
