Korea: Day Twelve photos

I’m terribly sorry, everyone, but you will have to wait for the Day Twelve report. We’ve had an emotional evening and I’m worn out. It’s all good…farewells and presentations and so on, but we’re all tired and emotions are near the surface and there were a lot of tears…happy ones!

The conductor of the World Vision Korea Children’s Choir, Hee Churl, their composer-in-residence, Hyon Chul, accompanist, Cheung-eun and other guests joined us for dinner this evening and then came back to my hotel room for a chat. When they had gone, we invited the choristers to a slumber party so that they could watch Mi Kyung and Brett open their presents. As a result we’ve had a late evening and it’s now 1:19am. I need sleep!

We’ll try to write the report in the morning and post it before we leave here at 10:00am, but if we don’t manage for some reason, please forgive us. We’ll finish it on the plane and I’ll post it as soon as I can.

Could I please beg you to be gentle with your choristers when they arrive home. They have been amazing and we’re very proud of them, but if they’re anything like me, they’re holding on by a thread! I will crash as soon as I hit home!

We’re all excited about coming home but it is hard to leave Korea. We have family here now.

Everyone is safe. Everyone is well. Everyone is tired but all are happy.

With love from all 34 of us!
